He has a doctorate degree in Law and is a Senior Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Girona, of which he has been Vice Rector and the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the UofG.

Between 2004 and 2005, he received a research grant from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and he has carried out various research stays in German universities. He has formed part of a group of European Academic Editors of the “Alternative Project of Penal European Prosecution” (Alternativentwurf Europäische Strafverfolgung”).

He has taught master degree and doctorate degree classes in different universities and has participated in numerous congresses and national and international seminars. He has been invited to form part of diverse doctorate theses dissertation committees.


Role

He is a Senior Professor of Civil Procedural Law and Criminal Procedural Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Girona (Spain).
