Curriculum Vitae

Manuel-Jesús Cachón Cadenas has a Master Degree in Law from Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1988, with an extraordinary Master prize. Currently, he is a Professor of Procedural Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (since 1993). His preferential researching fields are: civil procedural implementation; history of the Spanish procedural doctrine; general process theory; insolvency proceeding.

 

Last research projects he has participated in as the main researcher are: "La ejecución procesal civil: aspectos nacioanles e internacionales" (2005-2008, SEJ2005-08185) and "Aspectos procesales del concurso de acreedores" (2010-2012, DER2009-09244).

 

He has been Dean of the Faculty of Law (1996-1998) and the Director of the Private Law Department (2000-2002) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

 

He has given legal advice to different private and public entities.
