Curriculum Vitae

She has a Doctorate degree from the University of Barcelona.  She is Professor of Procedural Law at the same university.  She has been Vice-Dean in the Law Faculty, Tutor and Coordinator of the doctorate courses specializing in Procedural Law, member of the doctorate Commission, and she is currently a member of the following: The Body of Professors of the University of Barcelona, The Technical Committee on Social, Legal and Human Sciences for the validation of Foreign degrees of Superior Education for the doctorate degree, The Faculty Board of the Faculty of Law and the Commission of Postgraduate and Continued Education in this Faculty.

 

She has conducted several doctorate theses, and numerous research projects for the degree of Advanced Studies, and she has been member of the Dissertation Committee on several occasions, both in the sphere of Procedural Law, as well as in International Law and European Union Law.

 

She is taking part in the R+D Project of the Ministry of Education and Science, on “The Penal Process between Europe and America: a return trip?”  She has also participated in other research projects and teaching innovation.  Between her publications, the following are highlighted: “Lawsuit, ‘causa petendi’, and object of the process”, “Judicial Power”, “The principles of the process”, and “La riforma della custodia cautelare nel processo penale spagnolo”.
