Curriculum Vitae

Has a degree in Law at University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. PhD at the same University in Criminal Matters. Professor Chairman of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Buenos Aires. He has studied in the Institute of Criminal Sciences, University of Cologne, Germany, scholarship of DAAD -German Academic Exchange Service- (1997/1999). He has obtained a scholarship to posdoctoral research in the Fondation Alexander von Humboldt, University of Munich (2004/2005). He has published a dozen of books and over fifty papers in his speciality. His main scientific works are: reasonable timeframe of the proceeding and statute of limitations, international criminal law, proceeding law, criminal law in human rights, improsionment during the proceeding, criminal liability, appeals before Court of Cassation, possession crime, criminal code design, constitutional rights during the proceeding, et al. He is co-author of the translation from germany to spanish of the publication "Criminal Procedural Law" by Claus Roxin and he has translated to spanish many papers made by german jurists.
