He has a degree in Law from the University of Navarra and has obtained degrees from ‘Licence Spéciale en Droit International et Européen’, ‘Université de Louvain’, Belgium; ‘Maîtrise en Droit International et Européen’. ‘Université de Louvain’, Belgium; he has also completed corresponding doctorate studies for the Certificate of Research Proficiency.

He has been a representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Girona and the Delegation before the EEC (European Economic Community) of the Superior Council of Chambers of Commerce of Spain and is currently a practicing lawyer in the reputable Association of Lawyers of Girona. He is a mediator in the Labor Court of Catalonia and he is a member of the Board of Arbitration of Transport of Catalonia.

He is a Professor of Procedural Law in the Law Faculty of the ‘Universidad de Girona’. He has actively participated in different congresses and national and international conferences on Procedural Law. He has collaborated in the research tasks in the Area of Procedural Law from the UofG. He is in charge of the practices of simulated trials between the Judicial School and the Faculty of Law at the UofG. He has also participated in the elaboration of a commented and agreed upon edition of the Spanish Law of Civil Procedure of 2000. He is also currently a consultant for the course of Civil Procedural Law at the ‘Universidad Oberta de Catalunya’.
