Curriculum Vitae

She has a doctorate degree in Law, in the specialty of ecclesiastical State Law.  She is a Senior Lecturer in the Law Faculty at the University of Girona.

 

She has worked on diverse research threads, with the central theme being religious freedom as a fundamental right: religious freedom and proselytism; religious freedom in the European Human Rights Court; religious freedom and marriage; religious freedom and secularism; religious freedom and freedom of teaching; religious freedom and the media.

 

She has also participated in the Project of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, “Citizenship, social integration and the mobility of people in the European Union: Towards new social and educational services”, between 2004-2007; she is also participating in the project from the Ministry of Science and Innovation, “Citizens’ rights, freedom of establishment and circulation of services in the European Union”, 2009-2012.

She is currently, continually working on religious freedom, particularly on religious pluralism in a multicultural society, dealing with potentially conflictive situations (religious symbolism, financing of religious entities, products produced in accordance with religious laws…)
